Job summary

tesa is seeking a hands-on machine operator to run coating lines and slitter areas, load and unload rolls, and manage hot melts while monitoring process parameters in a manufacturing setting. You will follow SOPs, perform daily safety and equipment checks, and enter production data into SAP.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with basic math, written and oral communication skills.
• Mechanical skills or aptitude.
• Previous machine operating experience preferred.
• Ability to use calculator, computer and measuring tools.
• Knowledge of the metric system preferred.
• Capable of earning and maintaining a forklift license.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively with others.
• Hours: Any as required, including overtime on Saturdays and/or Sundays.
• Must be able to work within the framework of 6S, ISO and IATF requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate coating equipment and slitter lines following SOPs.
• Load and unload rolls and manage hot melts for coating head.
• Monitor process parameters and perform routine maintenance.
• Complete production paperwork and data entry into SAP.
• Trains new employees as instructed and supports inventory tasks.
• Work overtime, including weekends, as required.
