Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with basic math and communication skills.
• Mechanical skills or aptitude.
• Previous machine operating experience preferred.
• Ability to use calculator, computer and measuring tools.
• Knowledge of the metric system preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Hours: Any as required, including overtime on weekends.
• Must be able to work within the framework of 6S, ISO and IATF requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate coating line and slitter equipment per SOPs.
• Set up, operate, monitor and adjust machines for quality production.
• Maintain safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Complete production paperwork and SAP data entry.
• Assist with changeovers and inventory counts.
• Perform routine maintenance and daily safety checks.
• Communicate with Shift Supervisor and packer as needed.
• Keep area clean and compliant with 6S and IATF.
