Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in manufacturing preferred.
High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Set up, run, and monitor the hot melt calender line according to specifications.
Monitor control panels, temperature gauges, pressure settings and line speeds.
Load raw materials onto the line and thread them through accumulators and rollers.
Inspect coated products for defects and measure thickness and widths.
Identify and resolve minor mechanical or process issues to minimize downtime.
Maintain a clean, safe work area and perform basic preventative maintenance on calender rolls and equipment.
