Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and monitor the hot melt calender line according to specifications.
• Monitor control panels, temperature gauges, pressure settings and line speeds.
• Load raw materials onto the line and thread them through accumulators and rollers.
• Inspect coated products for defects and measure thickness and widths.
• Identify and resolve minor mechanical or process issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and perform basic preventative maintenance on calender rolls and equipment.
