Job summary

Mactac North America is seeking a Coater Helper for our Scranton, PA coating line. The role supports startup, setup, and operation of the coating equipment, assisting the Coater Operator and Coater Assistant to ensure safe, efficient production.

You will stage and load rolls, assist with line changeovers, troubleshoot downtime, and help with waste handling while maintaining quality and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior manufacturing/industrial experience preferred but not required.
• Minimum 6 months experience using a lift truck or ability to pass a licensing test.
• Must be able to work overtime as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist in startup and setup of the coating line to support Coater Operator and Coater Assistant.
• Staging and loading rolls, preparing rolls for line operations and line changeovers.
• Troubleshoot during downtime, assist with web breaks and waste disposal tasks.
• Perform duties of a Coating Assistant or Operator as needed based on production rates and line needs.
• Ensure quality and in-process tests are conducted and maintain accurate paperwork.
