Job summary

Eastman Chemical Company in Martinsville, VA, is seeking production staff for the Coating & Laminating area. This role operates on a 12-hour rotating day/night shift under a Team Manager, with responsibilities including startup/shutdown of equipment and monitoring processes.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma/GED, are 18+, and can work legally in the United States. Preferred: 2 years in coating deposition and hazardous environments; experience with Paint Protection Films.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiar with basic computer functions (email and data entry).
• Preferred: 2 years’ experience in solvent-based coating deposition or related hazardous environments.
• Experience with Paint Protection Films & Window Films is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup and shutdown of operating equipment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Maintain production area and participate in housekeeping, safety, and environmental inspections.
• Load/unload items from machines, carts, and dollies; feed items onto equipment.
• Perform preventative and routine maintenance and identify process deviations.
