Job summary

Mitsubishi Chemical Polyester Film Americas seeks a technical operator to monitor coatings batch operations, adjust processes, and support multiple film lines. You will assist with coating solution prep, equipment cleaning, and changeovers while maintaining safety and housekeeping in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred, and willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from a U.S. accredited school.
• Ability to work safely in a team environment.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and adapt to production schedule changes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, control, and troubleshoot coatings batch operations and equipment.
• Prepare coating solutions for running products on film lines and ensure equipment is cleaned.
• Assist line operators in troubleshooting quality and runnability issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of coating areas and equipment.
• Perform routine sample testing of solutions.
• Coordinate coating changes and understand film process flow.
• Coordinate material transport and dispose of unused chemicals properly.
• Support production and R&D trials as needed.
