Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a Coating Assistant Operator in Matthews, NC. The role focuses on safe machine operation, setup, startup, and shutdown, with a rotating shift every four weeks. You will learn SCADA/Wonderware systems, support equipment, and TPM practices while maintaining high housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write.
• Ability to perform basic math on a calculator.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately and precisely.
• Basic computer skills including email and electronic documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with machine setup, startup, operation and shutdown.
• Learn and operate online support equipment (SCADA, Wonderware).
• Follow TPM practices and quality system procedures.
• Coordinate material handling in support of production and assist with time/material accounting.
• Participate in quality issue resolution and continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain proficiency in all training-recorded tasks and work with limited supervision.
