Job summary

Adventist Health Mendocino County in Fort Bragg, CA is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver patient-centered PT treatments under supervision. Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent is required.
• Associate’s/Technical Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant or equivalent is required.
• Two years' physical therapy or technical experience is preferred.
• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in the practicing state is required.
• CPR/BLS certification from an approved vendor is required by AH policy.

Responsibilities

• Performs PT treatments using modalities, manual techniques, and standard exercises.
• Documents interventions and patient progress in the chart in a timely manner.
• Educates patients and caregivers, adapting to learning styles and needs.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
