North Bend Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Coos Bay, OR. The PTA will implement treatment plans, educate patients on exercises, and collaborate with clinicians to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher from an accredited PTA program (New grads welcome).
• Experience or ability to work within a physical therapy team and follow treatment plans.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a patient treatment schedule aligned with department needs.
• Provide treatment per the treatment plan including therapeutic exercises, manual therapies and modalities.
• Document daily treatment notes in a timely and complete manner.
• Record treatment charges accurately.
• Educate patients on at-home exercises and use of assistive devices.
• Assist in training and orientation of new staff and collaborate with the supervisor and team.
