The position requires an PTA license in the state, a High School diploma or GED, and an Associate’s/Technical degree in physical therapy assisting. CPR/BLS certification is also required.

Provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of licensed physical therapists, including the use of modalities, manual techniques and common exercise techniques. Instructs and guides patients through functional activities, such as bed mobility, transfers, gait, and balance activities. Works under minimal supervision and may mentor and train staff on technical skills. This position is represented by UFCW.
