Jekyll Island Authority is seeking a dedicated Park Services Custodian to join the Coastal Georgia team. This full-time role focuses on custodial tasks across public areas, bathrooms, and facilities to ensure a clean, safe guest experience.

Expect weekend and holiday shifts, attention to safety, and collaboration with a friendly team. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a stable schedule on Jekyll Island's natural shoreline.

Qualifications

• 6 to 12 months of experience in cleaning and maintenance (or related).
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to follow guidelines and work independently; good communication skills.
• Manual skills to perform cleaning, utilize cleaning tools, operate vacuum cleaners, etc.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and able to safely operate a motor vehicle.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be reliable with availability on weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.
• Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are required.

Responsibilities

• Performs custodial work to maintain buildings and grounds.
• Cleans public restrooms, restocks supplies, and cleans floors.
• Pressure wash shelters, tables, and walkways.
• Operate route vehicle safely to assigned locations.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and inventory.
• Attend and complete training and other duties as assigned.
