Job summary

Crowne Plaza Ventura Beach is seeking a Meetings and Events Concierge to serve as the primary hotel contact after the sales handoff, coordinating event planning and execution with Catering Sales and hotel operations. You will manage client communications, document event specifics, and ensure flawless service throughout the client’s event experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Event Management, or related field preferred.
• Experience in hotel catering, conference services, event planning, banquet operations, sales coordination, or related hospitality role preferred.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and event management systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the client’s primary hotel contact after handoff from Catering Sales Manager through event completion.
• Coordinate event details with clients and hotel departments (setup, F&B, AV, timelines, accommodations, signage, requests).
• Prepare and distribute BEOs, event resumes, diagrams, timelines, and related documentation.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients and departments; ensure accurate, timely information.
