Job summary

Ocean Beach Health on the Washington Coast is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with a strong interest or experience in Mammography to join our imaging team. This mammography-focused role supports additional imaging modalities, educates patients through often stressful appointments, and collaborates with radiologists to deliver accurate, timely results.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required (Mammography certification preferred or willingness to obtain).
• Washington State Radiologic Technologist license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-focused care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for mammography and other imaging procedures.
• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams with high quality.
• Educate and support patients through stressful or emotional appointments.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and dignity during exams.
• Collaborate with radiologists and providers to deliver accurate, timely results.
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and assist patients for other imaging procedures as assigned.
• Participate in on-call coverage for modalities as trained.
