Job summary

Ocean Beach Hospital and Medical Clinics seeks a Radiologic Tech to join the Health Team. The role performs radiographic exams, ensuring image quality and patient safety on the scenic Washington coast. You will assist radiologists and operate imaging equipment in a supportive, team-based environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in good standing and WA state radiologic technologist license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to perform radiographic exams per department policies.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for appropriate radiographic views.
• Provide immobilization devices as required.
• Set proper technical factors for each patient.
• Operate imaging equipment for exams per direction.
• Process digital radiographs and ensure image quality.
• Maintain radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Assist physicians with contrast administration as ordered.
• Instruct ancillary staff as needed and rotate as required.
• Follow sterile techniques and prevent cross-contamination.
• Support radiology procedures in surgical or other settings.
