Job summary

Ocean Beach Health on the Washington Coast seeks a Radiologic Technologist with a strong interest in mammography to join our imaging team. You will perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography, educate patients, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver accurate results in a patient-centered setting.

Qualifications

  • ARRT Mammography certification or willingness to obtain is required.
  • Washington State Radiologic Technologist license in good standing is required.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-focused care.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams.
  • Educate and support patients through often stressful or emotional appointments.
  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, and dignity throughout the exam process.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and providers to deliver accurate, timely results.
  • Maintain compliance with radiation safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare and assist patients for mammography and other imaging procedures as assigned.
  • Position patients accurately for mammographic imaging.
  • Operate mammography and radiologic imaging equipment safely and effectively.
  • Provide radiation protection in accordance with safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
  • Practice infection control and sterile techniques.
  • Support a culture of patient-centered care, safety, and teamwork.
  • Participate in on-call coverage for modalities in which you are trained, as needed.
  • Pursue continuing education and complete required training on time.

Ocean Beach Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with a strong interest or experience in Mammography to join our close-knit imaging team. If you're passionate about women's health, patient-centered care, and meaningful work, this role is for you.

Position Summary

This position is mammography-focused, with a requirement to support additional imaging modalities.

You Will
  • Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams

  • Select appropriate technical factors to produce optimal images
  • Operate mammography and radiologic imaging equipment safely and effectively
  • Provide radiation protection in accordance with safety standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
  • Practice infection control and sterile techniques
  • Support a culture of patient-centered care, safety, and teamwork
  • Participate in on-call coverage for modalities in which you are trained, as needed
  • Pursue continuing education and complete required training on time
