Ocean Beach Health is seeking a Laboratory & Diagnostic Services Manager to lead the Laboratory and Radiology Departments. This role ensures regulatory compliance, QA/QC, and high‑quality patient care through effective staff leadership and cross‑department collaboration.

You will manage budgets, chargemaster, and policies, mentor teams, participate in strategic planning, and support lifelong learning within a community hospital setting on the Washington coast.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science in medical technology or related sciences required.
• ASCP or AMT certification for Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist and five years of clinical experience required.
• Medical Assistant Phlebotomy License through the Washington State DOH.
• 2+ years of leadership experience with project management and metrics.
• Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, and meeting-management skills.
• Leadership to motivate cross-department teams and develop consensus.
• Experience maintaining lab licensure and related inspections.

• Direct the Laboratory and Radiology Department activities and staff.
• Ensure Quality Control and Quality Assurance guidelines for accurate patient care.
• Monitor budgets, departmental policies, and long-range plans.
• Prepare inspection reports and oversee proficiency testing actions.
