Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting seeks a Director of Coastal Engineering and Waterfronts to lead the client’s waterfronts practice and shape the long‑term vision. This executive will launch a Louisiana office, drive growth, and elevate technical excellence across multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires 15+ years in waterfront/coastal engineering, a PE license, and proven leadership in delivering complex projects with strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Coastal, Civil, Structural, or Marine Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; additional credentials (e.g., D.PE, PMP, CFM) desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the strategic plan for the Waterfronts Practice.
• Lead budgeting, staffing, revenue forecasting, and financial oversight.
• Provide senior technical oversight for waterfront and coastal projects.
• Lead business development initiatives and major pursuits.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team across disciplines.
