Job summary

The Burleigh in Kennebunkport, Maine is seeking friendly Servers who are passionate about delivering memorable guest experiences. You will guide guests through our menu, take beverage and food orders, deliver meals, and ensure a warm, welcoming dining room that reflects our coastal hospitality.

Responsibilities include setting up dining areas, handling payments, upselling where appropriate, maintaining clean spaces, and collaborating with the team to provide outstanding service.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas according to standard and season.
• Greet guests, take beverage and food orders, and input to POS system.
• Deliver food and beverages, check guest satisfaction, present checks and process payment.
• Upsell where possible and encourage additional F&B for VIPs and special occasions.
• Follow cash handling and tipping policies; complete shift check out.
• Move tables and chairs as needed; maintain clean dining areas and workspaces.
• Complete side work tasks (polishing, restocking, cleaning) and pre-service tasks (ice, garnishes, beverages).
• Know table/seat numbers and provide strong beverage knowledge; communicate allergies.
• Ensure safety procedures and collaborate professionally with team.
