Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, with supervisory experience.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
• Experience performing hands-on maintenance and vehicle operation.
• Knowledge of beach operations and OSV access is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Explain applicable statutes and by-laws regulating parking and beach access; advise on state laws, town by-laws, codes and rules.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers, the public, and other departments.
• Attend meetings and participate in discussions affecting Park Department programs.
• Inspect beaches daily to ensure safety and compliance; supervise staff.
• Inspect and maintain Town-owned equipment and facilities.
• Assist in planning for OSV corridor fencing installation and habitat fencing.
• Provide limited enforcement of beach rules and regulations.
• Install and maintain signage and walkways.
• Perform related duties.
