Qualifications

• Previous bartending or hospitality experience required.
• Knowledge of standard drink recipes, spirits, beer, and wine.
• Neat, professional appearance with a pleasant personality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive or move through the bar area.
• Maintain proper and adequate bar setup on a daily basis.
• Guide guests through the beverage menu using descriptive selling techniques.
• Accurately take orders, confirming all special requests.
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge to enhance guest interaction and experience.
• Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and bar team members.
• Address guest concerns and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Provide timely and accurate check presentation to finalize the guest experience.
• Requisition and stock all beer, wine, and spirits.
• Maintain, prepare, and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure quality.
• Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to standard recipes and portion control guidelines.
• Enter orders into the POS system and create checks for each guest.
• Secure the bar at closing, including locking and storing inventory, handling cash drops, and balancing the bank.
