Job summary

IronMountain Solutions seeks an Asset Project Manager to plan and execute maintenance availabilities for U.S. Coast Guard patrol boats. You will work with Coast Guard engineers, port engineers, and contractors to develop repair packages, coordinate activities, and support closeout.

The ideal candidate has ship maintenance, project management, technical writing, and government contracting experience. Duties include maintaining HM&E maintenance records, preparing SOWs, and coordinating procurement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Two+ years of experience in ship maintenance, engineering, logistics, or technical project management.
• Experience developing technical documentation or Statements of Work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze technical information and make sound recommendations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional project teams.
• Ability to climb ladders and access confined shipboard spaces.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage programmed depot maintenance for Coast Guard patrol boats.
• Conduct vessel assessments to identify HM&E maintenance requirements.
• Develop technical Statements of Work and repair specifications for contracts.
• Coordinate maintenance planning with Port Engineers and Maintenance Integrators.
• Attend planning meetings, site visits, and reviews.
• Review reports and change requests; recommend technical solutions.
• Prepare procurement documentation and funding requests.
• Perform market research to price repairs, parts and equipment.
• Maintain cutter maintenance records in Coast Guard systems.
• Initiate Purchase Requests and MILSTRIPs.
• Support project closeout with complete maintenance records.
• Prepare technical memoranda and briefings for leadership.
• Communicate with government personnel, contractors, and stakeholders.
