Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead Coast Guard projects from Santa Barbara, CA. You will oversee design-build engineering and environmental services, manage multidisciplinary teams, and develop client work programs.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience, a PE license, PMP preferred, and a track record of growing Coast Guard portfolios while navigating federal requirements. This on-site role offers growth opportunities within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years leading complex design-build construction and environmental projects.
• Experience with federal/state project regulations and client engagements.
• Willingness to travel, valid US driver license, and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Direct design-build projects including engineering and environmental services.
• Oversee engineering: geotechnical investigations, design, construction management.
• Oversee environmental services: remediation, NEPA, permitting, and regulatory coordination.
• Prepare proposals, manage projects, balance sales and utilization for USCG design-build projects.
• Lead business development strategy for the USCG design-build portfolio.
• Coordinate internally to align resources and deliver integrated solutions for clients.
