Job summary

IronMountain Solutions seeks an Asset Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance availabilities for U.S. Coast Guard patrol boats.

The APM collaborates with Coast Guard engineers, Port Engineers, Maintenance Integrators, and ship repair contractors to develop repair packages, coordinate activities, monitor execution, and support closeout. The ideal candidate will have experience with ship maintenance, project management, technical writing, and government contracting processes,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Project Management, Logistics, Marine Transportation, or related field.
• Two or more years supporting ship maintenance, engineering, logistics, or technical project management.
• Experience developing technical documentation or Statements of Work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional project teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Coast Guard facility access credentials.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage programmed depot maintenance for Coast Guard patrol boats.
• Develop technical Statements of Work (SOWs) and repair specifications for commercial ship repair contracts.
• Coordinate maintenance planning activities with Port Engineers and Maintenance Integrators.
• Attend availability planning meetings, arrival conferences, site visits, and post-availability reviews.
• Review Condition Found Reports and Change Requests and recommend technical solutions.
• Prepare procurement documentation and funding requests supporting maintenance activities.
• Perform market research to obtain pricing for repair services, spare parts, and technical equipment.
• Maintain cutter maintenance records and casualty information within Coast Guard maintenance systems.
• Initiate Purchase Requests and MILSTRIPs supporting maintenance execution.
• Support project closeout by ensuring maintenance records and documentation are complete.
• Communicate with Government personnel, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the maintenance lifecycle.
