Job summary

LCBC Church is seeking a Location Coordinator to lead a campus and ensure the weekend and midweek experiences run smoothly. This role focuses on growing engagement, building relationships, and executing LCBC's community strategies with excellence.

You will develop and empower volunteer teams, cast vision for LCBC values, and collaborate with staff to maintain core processes, attend meetings, and support attendees on their next steps in faith.

Qualifications

• Have a personal relationship with Jesus and demonstrate ongoing spiritual growth.
• Support LCBC’s mission to introduce people to Jesus and help them become fully devoted followers.
• Lead with focus, collaboration, and growth mindset within the ministry context.
• Be aligned with LCBC’s values and be willing to become an LCBC Partner within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Be the Primary Ministry Leader ensuring the location runs smoothly.
• Grow all areas of engagement and create/maintain community relationships.
• Execute Community Gathering Core with excellence and ensure distraction-free gatherings.
• Be the main point person for weekend and midweek experiences.
• Keep core processes up to date and cast vision for LCBC values.
• Lead the volunteer team—build, train, empower, and schedule environments.
• Lead the People by moving attendees to their next step in faith.
• Provide pastoral care and attend necessary staff/ministry meetings.
• Duties as assigned by the Location Pastor and maintain healthy team dynamics.

Reports to: Regional Director of Community Gatherings

Hours Commitment: 40-45 hours/week with regular weekend responsibilities.

Purpose Statement: To lead an LCBC Campus to increasing effectiveness at introducing more and more people to Jesus and helping them to become fully devoted followers.

Personal Qualifications

• Have a personal relationship with Jesus and demonstrate ongoing spiritual growth through everyday habits and practices.
• Support LCBC’s mission to introduce people to Jesus and together fully follow him, along with our ministry philosophy, priorities, and beliefs.

Evaluation

The Location Coordinator will meet regularly with the direct supervisor for planning, goal setting, progress updates, and general coaching. A formal Action and Development Plan will be completed and reviewed three times throughout the year.
