Job summary

Soccer Stars Long Island & Eastern Queens is seeking a full-time Coaching Coordinator to join our team. This role leads coach training sessions, evaluates current coaching staff, and ensures our programs maintain high standards of instruction and engagement.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, attention to detail, and excellent communication to support coach development and program excellence. On-field and behind-the-scenes coordination are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of soccer coaching experience.
• Experience training or mentoring coaches preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Willingness to travel across Long Island and Eastern Queens.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work weekends.
• Proficiency with Google Suite or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate training sessions for coaches to align with curriculum and coaching philosophy.
• Conduct on-site evaluations of coaching staff and provide written feedback.
• Support Coaching Manager in monitoring performance and promotions.
• Mentor and support coaches with guidance and resources.
• Develop structured development plans for coaches to improve skills.
• Coach classes regularly and fill in when needed.
• Track, manage, and distribute coaching equipment across locations.
• Maintain inventory and ensure replacements and restocking.
• Schedule coaches to ensure proper staffing for classes, camps, and clinics.
• Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training of new coaches.
• Provide administrative support for performance tracking and feedback.
• Communicate with families and partners on coaching-related matters.
• Be a Brand Ambassador and maintain professional demeanor with coaching team.
