Job summary

CCTA Metro is hiring a full-time Coach Operator to transport passengers safely and reliably across assigned routes in Kalamazoo. You will greet riders, collect fares, perform pre-trip inspections, and communicate with dispatch to maintain schedules and service quality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Customer Service experience preferred.
• Stable work history and good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate transit buses on pre-assigned shifts.
• Maintain a safe, courteous, and efficient service.
• Follow designated routes and schedules.
• Greet passengers and collect fares.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Instruct trainees on safe driving and passenger procedures.
