Kansas City Area Transportation Authority is seeking Bus Driver (Operator) to serve the Kansas City metro. You will drive state‑of‑the‑art buses, assist riders, and provide friendly, reliable service while helping ensure on‑time passenger connections.

This full‑time role includes paid training to obtain a Class B CDL, comprehensive benefits after training, and opportunities for advancement. You must be at least 21, have a valid license, and pass DOT physicals and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background checks.
• CDL Class B Permit or CDL with passenger endorsement; training provided by KCATA.

Responsabilités

• Operate and drive a transit vehicle safely and reliably.
• Load and unload riders at designated stops and ensure passenger safety.
• Provide friendly customer service and information to riders.
• Maintain vehicle inspections and communicate with Dispatch Center.
