Job summary

Willard Peak is seeking a dedicated Coach Counselor (Youth Care Worker) to provide 24/7 in-person safety and support for youth. You will meet physical, personal, and health needs through mentoring and skill-building, while documenting behaviors and coordinating with a treatment plan with other professionals.

The role emphasizes collaboration, supervision, and a positive, safe environment for youths, with opportunities for growth within our organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug and TB tests.
• Must be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry.

Responsibilities

• Provide around-the-clock in-person safety and security for youth.
• Mentor youth and support skill development and education, activities, and health needs.

Pay

$19.00 per hour. Schedule includes 4 hours of guaranteed overtime each pay period.

What you will do:

A Coach Counselor (Youth Care Worker) provides around-the-clock in-person safety and security. In this role, you will provide for the physical, personal, and health needs of each youth through individual mentoring and skill development. A Coach Counselor provides an atmosphere that supports the youth’s needs; monitors and documents behaviors and activities; and participates in and assists with educational, social, athletic, and recreational activities. Youth Care Worker will collaborate with other professional staff to establish and meet the goals of each youth's treatment plan.

Schedule:

Rotating 12-hour shifts, 2/3/3/2.
