Job summary

Airgas, Inc. is hiring a CDL B Microbulk Driver to support our Texas routes, including Alvin/ Houston area. The role involves delivering CO2 and related supplies on assigned routes, with home daily local work and regional travel across Texas and nearby states.

Competitive hourly pay of $28.00/hour, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and more; 30 days of start benefits, 401(k) with match, and parental leave. Hazardous materials handling and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT, Tanker & Airbrake endorsements.
• Hazmat is REQUIRED and candidates must currently hold it.
• Must maintain license, medical card and endorsements.
• No more than two traffic convictions or two at-fault accidents in last 3 years.
• No DUI in last seven years.
• Able to lift 75 lbs and move 125 lbs with equipment.
• One year CDL driving in last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver CO2 and related supplies on assigned routes (roughly 10–12+ stops).
• Assist transfer of product from truck to customer tank via hose hookup.
• Perform vehicle safety inspections before and after use per DOT and company checklists.
• Load Microbulk tanks and fill customer-owned tanks as needed.
• Coordinate with field techs on CO2 tank installations and repairs.
• Maintain DOT, SAFECOR and Airgas vehicle documents.
• Ensure routine maintenance is performed timely on route truck.
