Job summary

Airgas is hiring a CO2 Microbulk Route Driver in Deer Park, TX. This role covers a Houston-Beaumont-Lufkin-College Station-Galveston route using a Class B vehicle with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.

Compensation is $26.00/hr plus an annual safety bonus up to $2,000. Schedule is Sun–Thu, 6:00am–4:00pm, with benefits starting after 30 days. Requires 1 year CMV experience and Hazmat/Tanker endorsements, clean driving record, and ability to lift 60 pounds.

Qualifications

• At least 22 years old.
• Class B CDL minimum with at least 1 year CMV experience. Experience must be within the last 4 years.
• Hazmat and tanker endorsements required.
• No preventable accidents of any kind in the last 3 years.
• No more than 2 minor tickets in the last 3 years.
• No serious violation ticket (speeding 15+, reckless driving, etc.) in the last 3 years.
• No suspensions of CDL in the last 3 years except for "Failure to pay child support".
• No DUI in the last 7 years.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive microbulk routes Houston, Beaumont, Lufkin, College Station, Galveston.
• Operate a Class B vehicle with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Maintain safety, vehicle cleanliness and on-time delivery to customers.
• Follow Airgas policies and DOT regulations for a safe workday.
