Job summary

Apple Montessori Schools in Mahwah, NJ is seeking a Co-Teacher for Toddler or Preschool to support the head teacher with curriculum planning and student engagement. Monday to Friday, 10:30 am - 6:30 pm, onsite position emphasizing Montessori methods and individualized learning plans.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe learning environment, collaborating with staff, communicating with families, and supporting professional development as part of our growth-focused team.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in early childhood education or AA with required credits or CDA.
• Montessori experience preferred.
• NAMC preferred or willing to obtain within the first year.
• Ability to communicate with parents effectively and professionally.
• Experience with lesson planning and development.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:30 am - 6:30 pm

As a member of our teaching team, some of your responsibilities will include:

Final compensation is determined based on a combination of factors, including years of experience in a similar role, relevant certifications and/or credentials, and the size and/or geographic location of the school.
