Apple Montessori Schools in Morris Plains, NJ, is seeking a dedicated Co-Teacher for Preschool to join our Montessori program. You will support lead teachers in daily lessons, supervise safe classroom activities, and help implement individual student plans, while maintaining clear parent communication.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in early childhood education or AA with required credits or CDA.
• Montessori Experience (preferred).
• NAMC (Preferred or willing to obtain within the first year).
• Ability to communicate with parents effectively and professionally.
• Experience with Lesson planning and development.
• Ability to multitask and function in an ever-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all students enjoy a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
• Collaborating with the Head Teacher in curriculum, lesson planning, and parent communication.
• Working closely with students to foster individual success plans and maintain accurate records.
• Learn how to effectively demonstrate Montessori materials and philosophy.
• Collaborating with teaching staff to plan school events and prepare curriculum.
• Participating in staff development activities, educational trainings, and mentorship programs.

Hours: Monday to Friday: 10:30 am - 6:30 pm

Final compensation is determined based on a combination of factors, including years of experience in a similar role, relevant certifications and/or credentials, and the size and/or geographic location of the school.
