Apple Montessori Schools in Morris Plains, NJ is seeking a dedicated Co-Teacher Preschool to join our early childhood team. You will collaborate with the Head Teacher to implement curriculum, plan lessons, maintain accurate records, and communicate with parents to support each child's growth.

Our Montessori-inspired program emphasizes hands-on learning, professional development, and a caring, values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in early childhood education or AA in a similar field with required credits or CDA
• Montessori Experience (preferred)
• NAMC (Preferred or willing to obtain within the first year of employment)
• Ability to communicate with parents effectively and professionally
• Experience with Lesson planning and development
• Ability to multitask and function in an ever-changing environment

Responsabilités

• Ensuring that all students enjoy a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
• Collaborating with the Head Teacher in the areas of curriculum, lesson planning, and parent communication.
• Working closely with students to foster individual success plans and maintaining accurate records.
• Learn how to effectively demonstrate Montessori materials and philosophy.
• Collaborating with teaching staff to plan school events and prepare curriculum.
• Participating in staff development activities, educational trainings, and mentorship programs.

Location: Morris Plains, NJ

Hours: Monday to Friday: 10:30 am - 6:30 pm

As a member of our teaching team, some of your responsibilities will include:

Final compensation is determined based on a combination of factors, including years of experience in a similar role, relevant certifications and/or credentials, and the size and/or geographic location of the school.
