Job summary
Symbotic LLC in Texas is offering a Spring 2027 Co-Op as a System Engineer on the Site Operations team. You will support the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of our robotic material handling system while gaining hands-on experience across mechanical, electrical, robotics, and software technologies.
You will shadow experienced engineers, work on real tickets, analyze system data, and contribute to site improvements, all in a fast-paced customer-site environment with mentorship
Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Interest or coursework in robotics and automation.
- Ability to work on-site at customer locations.
- Hands-on interest or experience with robotics and electromechanical equipment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor system health and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Shadow senior engineers and support site tickets.
- Analyze alarms and performance data to identify trends.
- Document issues and communicate findings to site teams.
- Assist with escalations and coordinate follow-up actions.
- Lead a small continuous-improvement project using site data.
- Follow safety procedures in a warehouse environment.
