Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited BS program in electrical engineering, computer engineering or similar programs.
  • Mechanical aptitude / hands on mentality.
  • Familiar with statistical analysis.
  • Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Good documentation and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Lab testing using relevant equipment.
  • Must have transportation to Acton office.
  • Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship needs.

Responsibilities

  • Work hands-on with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, power analyzers, Instron, pressure transducers, OGP, and high‑speed cameras.
  • Identify bugs, troubleshoot, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Participate in design and development of low-power battery-operated insulin delivery devices.
  • Design test procedures, perform custom tests, and analyze data for qualifications and design enhancements.
  • Manage project documentation, including protocols, reports, and design history file documentation.
  • Drive team alignment and approvals.
  • Assist or lead Engineering Change Orders.
  • Collaborate with systems, software, mechanical, and electrical engineers.
  • Support new component supplier qualification and new product development.
  • Participate in professional development with a manager to achieve desired learning outcomes.
