Qualifications

Job description

  • Assist in developing and testing the next-generation OmniPod System Insulin Pump, a low-power battery-operated wearable medical device
  • Design, develop, and document test fixtures and prototype circuit boards
  • Research practical applications of new technologies
  • Assist in rapid prototyping of circuit board assemblies
  • Perform verification testing against written test protocols
  • Enter and analyze data and summarize results in test reports
  • Use oscilloscopes, power supplies, and soldering of surface-mount components
  • Perform other duties as required
Requirements
  • Pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics, with a minimum of 2–3 years completed
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of Cadence OrCAD, MATLAB, or Ansys HFSS is a plus
  • Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is a plus
  • Demonstrated acceptance of responsibility and pride in work
