Job summary

Messer Construction Co. invites energetic co-op Project Engineer students to join our Indianapolis team. This role supports the site Project Manager and Project Engineer in managing and administering projects on active job sites.

You will assist with site layout, document control, quality checks, scheduling data, cost reporting, subcontractor coordination, and shop drawing handling, using MS Office and on-site tools in a collaborative, hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree required; Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels of employees and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Site and building layout assistance.
• Document control and quality checks.
• Field production analysis and cost reporting input.
• Project controls input including scheduling.
• Subcontractor and workforce coordination.
• Shop drawing and submittal control.
• Material and equipment expediting support.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products on-site.
• Experience using an iPad on project tasks.
