We are seeking a Project Engineer Co-op to join the Messer team and support projects at the site with the primary responsibility of assisting the site Project Manager and Project Engineer in management and administration of the project. You will gain hands-on experience in site layout, document control, quality control, field production

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree required. Civil Engineering or Construction Management with a focus on construction processes/industry/delivery methods preferred.
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees
• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Site and building layout
• Document control
• Quality control
• Field production analysis
• Project controls input (scheduling, cost reporting, PM solutions)
• Subcontractor and work force coordination
• Shop drawing/submittal control
• Material and equipment expediting
• Subcontractor/supplier solicitation
• Experience working with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
• Experience with using an iPad
