Job summary

Southland Industries offers an internship and co‑op program designed to immerse students in the Design/Build HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection industry. You will assist a design or project manager to coordinate projects, developing skills in design, estimating, and scheduling.

You will gain hands‑on experience, read mechanical/plumbing plans, and interact with management and field trades. The program emphasizes growth, safety, and potential full‑time opportunities within a leading MEP building

Responsibilities

• Assist design manager or project manager to coordinate a project.
• Coordinate design-build processes using engineering labor, equipment and subcontracted services.
• Develop skills in design, estimating and scheduling.
• Coordinate with trades and subcontractors during design and build.
• Assist in budget analysis, cost projections and schedule development.
