Job summary

Amsted Rail in Camp Hill, PA invites an Engineering Co-Op to work under the Engineering and Quality Manager, gaining hands-on experience in developing and implementing engineering documentation and manufacturing processes within an industrial setting.

You'll create 3D models and 2D drawings in Creo, develop work instructions, support daily operations, and analyze data in Excel while helping troubleshoot equipment and ensure safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering
• Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week during the academic year and up to 40 hours per week during the summer
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Create and revise 3D models and 2D drawings using Creo CAD software
• Develop and update work instructions and technical documentation
• Support engineering and management teams in daily operational tasks
• Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and interpret data
• Assist with troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment
• Ensure compliance with plant safety, ergonomic, and environmental standards
