Job summary

Regeneron seeks a co-op to work onsite in Tarrytown, NY (also Hawthorne, NY) for January–August or May/June–December terms. You will develop LC-MS/MS and MSI methods to characterize proteins and biomarkers, apply CID and ExD fragmentation, and utilize CE-MS/iCIEF to analyze protein variants.

You will perform DIA proteomics with FDR-controlled database searching and contribute to immunoassays (ELISA, western blot) for preclinical studies, including ADC and bioconjugate workflows.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an academic program pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate degree and returning to school after the position
• Must be able to commit to 40 hours per week during the stated terms (January-August, May/June-December, or August-December)
• Demonstrated leadership in campus activities, clubs, sports, work or community preferred
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and run LC-MS and MSI methods to characterize therapeutic proteins, bioconjugates and biomarkers
• Apply fragmentation techniques (CID, ExD) to characterize conjugated payloads
• Use CE-MS and iCIEF to characterize protein charge variants
• Build reference databases and spectral libraries and interpret MS data
• Run high-throughput proteomics workflows using DIA and perform database searching with FDR control
• Develop and evaluate platform immunoassays (ELISA, western blot) to support preclinical studies
• Support development and purification of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) and compare platform performance across bioconjugate modalities
• Document procedures and present findings to the analytical sciences team
