Daktronics is offering a Manufacturing Process Engineer Co‑Op Intern position in Sioux Falls, SD. The role pairs you with Manufacturing and Engineering to solve day‑to‑day manufacturing challenges while gaining hands‑on experience with lean processes and product improvements.

You will design prototypes, assist with ECO changes, and develop tooling concepts using Creo, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks. Eligible students must commit to 40 hours/week for seven months and maintain good attendance.

Qualifications

• Full‑time students in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering seeking a seven‑month internship.
• Must commit to 40 hours per week and take credit through cooperative program.
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred; unofficial transcripts required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes aligned with lean concepts.
• Coordinate with Engineering on major product changes.
• Oversee ECO process and implement process improvements.
• Prototype cabinet designs and tooling concepts in Creo.
• Build workstations, racks, and fixtures; test and gather feedback.
• Collaborate effectively as a team member and maintain good attendance.
