Job summary

Doosan Bobcat is offering a Spring 2027 Design Engineer Student Experience in North Dakota for a Co‑op or Internship. The program provides hands‑on experience across multiple engineering functions, working within a global company.

Participants will create and modify parts in Creo, manage ECNs and BOMs, assist with prototype builds and testing, and analyze results to improve designs while collaborating with production, service, and marketing teams.

Qualifications

• Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing pursuing a degree in Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred
• Be able to commit full‑time to Bobcat for the entire term of the co‑op (8 months) or internship (4 months)
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
• Communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and modifying parts and engineering drawings using Creo.
• Update Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Support prototype builds, testing, and maintenance of engineering equipment.
• Analyze test results to improve product designs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to solve design challenges and contribute to product development.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on product improvements.
