Job summary

Biogen, Inc. offers a 6-month Co-Op in Cambridge, MA, joining the North America Medical Field Medical Capability and Operational Excellence team. You will support onboarding programs, maintain resources, and help with capability development.

The role provides exposure to project management, stakeholder engagement, and executive-level reporting, with opportunities to contribute to cross-functional initiatives and learn about medical affairs in a leading biotech company.

Qualifications

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Currently enrolled in BS/Master's/PharmD/PhD program in life sciences or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of Field Medical onboarding across all therapeutic areas, driving adoption and optimization through stakeholder engagement, feedback collection, and measurement of predefined success metrics and KPIs.
  • Maintain and enhance core Field Medical resources, including the Medical Playbook, onboarding materials, governance documentation, operational guides, and capability-building tools.
  • Support MSL skills and capability development initiatives by coordinating training programs, facilitating learning experiences, capturing learner feedback, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, including IT, Commercial, Global Medical Training, Compliance, Medical Operations, and other key business functions to deliver strategic initiatives and organizational priorities.
  • Develop presentations, meeting summaries, and leadership communications to support decision-making, project execution, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Support Field Medical Capability and Operational Excellence initiatives through process improvement, change management, and the implementation of scalable best practices that enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and governance activities by coordinating meetings, documenting decisions, and providing ongoing project communications.
