HNTB Corporation in Boston, MA is seeking a Roadway Design co-op to contribute to the design and development of highway and roadway projects from concept to final construction plans. You will work closely with experienced design engineers on a range of projects, from small intersections to large interchanges, gaining hands-on exposure to Civil 3D and related design tools.

As a Roadway Design co-op, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and development of highway and roadway projects. These projects can range from small intersection and multimodal corridor improvement projects to large interchanges, multimodal improvements, bridge reconstruction projects and/or design-build projects. Working closely with experienced design engineers, you will be involved in all aspects of the design process, from concept development to final construction plans. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated new graduate to apply their technical knowledge and make a significant impact in the field of highway and roadway engineering. This opportunity entails being responsible for assisting assigned department(s) and/or project(s) by performing basic engineering related tasks which may reflect elements of standard post-secondary engineering curriculum.

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program

The approximate pay range for Massachusetts is $25.28 - $37.92. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position based on all selected locations within the state at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
