Job summary

Moderna’s Spring/Summer Co-op Program in Norwood, MA runs Jan 18, 2027 through June 25, 2027, requiring full duration availability. The Bioanalytical and Molecular Assay team will provide hands-on experience in LC‑MS/MS workflows, sample prep, data processing, and regulated documentation, across lipids, biomarkers, proteins, and other analytes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS or MS in a related scientific field.
• Interest in bioanalytical chemistry and MS-based methods.
• Laboratory coursework or internship/co-op experience acceptable.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow procedures and work in a team environment.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support LC‑MS/MS method development and sample analysis under supervision.
• Prepare samples and calibrations for LC‑MS/MS analyses.
• Assist instrument setup, sequencing, and routine lab activities.
• Process and review data using SCIEX and Xcalibur software.
• Maintain accurate records per SOPs and GLP/GCP principles.
• Assist with lab organization, reagents, and instrument maintenance.
