Job summary

Community Counseling Center is seeking a qualified Addiction Specialist to deliver individual and group counseling for clients enrolled in the Integrated Treatment for Co-Occurring Disorders (ITCD) program. The co-occurring specialist will provide services that meet ITCD standards and agency policies, with a focus on stage-wise treatment and recovery support in Southeast Missouri.

Must meet MO Division of Behavioral Health's QAP requirements, hold CADC/CRADC/CRAADC/CCJP or CCDP credentials or a

Qualifications

• Must meet the MO Division of Behavioral Health's definition of Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP).
• Bachelor's Degree with 3 years' experience working with SUD Population; or, Master's Degree with 1 year of experience working with SUD Population.
• Must have reliable transportation, a continuous valid driver's license, and proof of continuous auto insurance. Travel in own vehicle is required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate ITCD counseling and education groups.
• Work to provide education to family members of ITCD consumers.
• Provide Individual Counseling ITCD clients.
• Complete supplemental assessments for ITCD clients.
• Make appropriate referrals.
• Attend ITCD multi-disciplinary team meetings.
• Document according to clinical policies and procedures, DMH, CARF, and any other federal or state program per agency standards.
