Brightli is seeking a Co-Occurring Disorder Counselor in Springfield, Missouri to provide integrated therapy for individuals with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. The role involves delivering individual and group counseling, completing assessments, and developing tailored treatment plans in a community setting.

The position emphasizes crisis intervention, documentation, collaboration with clinical teams, and participation in ongoing staff trainings.

Qualifications

• Hold ITCD or ITCD-related credentials as defined by the Missouri Credentialing Board (e.g., CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, CCJP, CCDP, CDPD-D)
• Alternative credential path: Qualified Mental Health Professional with relevant master’s/bachelor’s degree (non-licensed)
• If less than one year ITCD experience, actively pursue 24 hours of ITCD-specific training under supervision

Responsibilities

• Provide co-occurring disorder therapy in individual and group settings.
• Complete intake, screening and assessments within required timelines.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with progression based on assessments.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation per regulations.
• Participate in clinical staffing and treatment team meetings.
• Deliver crisis intervention as needed and conduct group education sessions.
