Job summary

Premier Nutrition Company, Emeryville, CA, seeks a Co-Manufacturing Quality Manager to lead QA with contract manufacturers, review specs, and ensure regulatory compliance. This role requires travel up to 50% and collaboration with R&D and operations in a hybrid workplace.

You will drive CAPA actions, support new product changes, and ensure quality standards across foods, dietary supplements, and finished goods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field.
• FSMA PCQI Certification required.
• 5+ years QA in the CPG/food processing industry.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Strong knowledge of food safety programs (HACCP, GMP, allergen controls, food defense).

Responsibilities

• Owns co-man quality audits with contract manufacturers and drives corrective actions.
• Advise on site selection, product design, specs during launches.
• Lead CAPA investigations and deviations with suppliers.
• Review product specifications and artwork for compliance.
• Ensure audit follow-up and regulatory compliance with partners.
