Job summary

EMIT Technologies is seeking a hands-on QA Manager to oversee quality control at our manufacturing facility. You will lead the QA team, ensure products meet specs, drive CAPA and continuous improvements, and collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to reduce defects and ensure safety and quality standards.

You will guide audits, lead root-cause analysis, and mentor staff, while maintaining 5S, GMP, and industry standards compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in quality management or engineering.
• Experience leading QA/QC in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with quality systems, audits, corrective actions, and CAPA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily QA and inspection activities across the manufacturing process.
• Verify finished products meet specifications before release.
• Monitor in-process production for defects and nonconformances.
• Conduct regular audits of processes, work areas, and products.
• Lead corrective actions and preventive measures to reduce rework and scrap.
• Track quality metrics and report trends to leadership.
• Coordinate calibration and maintenance of inspection tools.
